It’s been an exciting few months for me, as I find myself finally living the dream that I’ve been working torwards for a long time. I blogged about the details in September and the title of that blog says it all: I’m Present.
So this Christmas, I’m taking some time out to truly be present with my friends and family, and also with myself. In January this year, I said the only ‘resolution’ I’d be making was a promise to be kinder to myself. I still have my moments but I think I can safely say I’ve fulfilled that promise…. and so much more! It’s been a good year.
If 2014 hasn’t been the greatest year for you*, well – there’s still time! And all things pass so imagine how different things will be this time next year when you’re looking back at now…
Whatever you’re doing for the holiday season, I wish you love, peace and lots of laughter!
*If the season really gets you down, there are people you can call, and you could always tweet or email me too – it might take a couple of days but I’ll be listening, and I will reply.
As the holiday season is well and truly upon us I won’t keep you… If you celebrate Christmas then I’m sure you have presents to wrap (and maybe even some still left to buy!), food to cook, friends and relatives to visit and rubbish TV to watch! If not then I’m sure you are looking forward to the break.* I just wanted to say thank you, dear readers, for your support over the past year. For your patience when I disappear and don’t blog for a few weeks, for your kind words (comments, emails and even that phone call!), and a special thanks to all you silent readers – without all of you this blog would just be me talking to myself. And I do enough of that at home (I know it’s not just me..!).
So, just for you, here’s a special card to celebrate the holiday season.
Have a great break and I’ll see you back here (I hope!) in January!
*Apologies to all those based in countries that do not have a break this coming week! Don’t work too hard and I wish you all the best for the New Year.
As Christmas draws closer and most of the UK shuts down for at least a day (I still remember when it was more like a week!), I will be spending time with loved ones and taking the time to reflect on the past year and look forward to what is yet to come. What are you up to?
However you will be celebrating, I would like to wish you all the best for the holiday season. Xx
Whatever the holiday season might mean for you, I hope that you have enjoyed 2009, and are looking forward to the new year and what it might bring (I know I am)! Instead of a traditonal greeting card, I have created some more wordle word art for you:
